Classes that say **Performing** are the best classes to register for if you want your students to perform with us for our Spring 2024 performance.

Redeeming Dance (RD) Recommended Minimum Hours of Classes and required hours of Ballet per Level. If you are unable to commit to the required hours this can be discussed and approved by the Director(s). If you are ONLY signing up for Hip-Hop/Modern-Jazz/PBT or Contemporary. Please sign up according to the Age group listed per level. If you are supplementing ballet at RD from another school due to our excellent ballet program and training. Please email us for Director(s) approval. Please email us for additional information about RDBC and RDC our Pre-Professional Program and Competition Team. As well as ballet hour requirements.

RDA and RD Performance classes require a semester-long commitment. Once enrolled, withdrawals are not allowed, and commitment to performance is for the entire semester.

No minimum requirement.

Learn coordination, focus, and age-appropriate fundamentals of ballet technique and dance etiquette.

PRIMARY AGES 6-8 yrs

2 hrs per week of dancing recommended – can be ballet and another style OR 2hrs of ballet.

RD Primary 1. 6-8 yrs:

Dancers who are taking 1 hr of ballet per week.

RD Primary 2. 6-8 yrs:

Dancers who dance 2+ hrs per week.

RDBC/RDC Primary 6-8 yrs:

3+ hrs total of dancing required for RDBC/RDC – 2 hrs ballet required.

Building on the previous level, to further learn sound ballet foundation and technique with more challenging, age-appropriate steps—introduction to foundations of contemporary technique.

JUNIOR AGES 9-11 yrs

2 hrs per week of ballet required to be in ballet junior. 3 hrs of dancing per week recommended, eg: 2hr of ballet still required and 1 hour of another style to make up 3 hrs

RD Junior 1. 9-11 yrs:

Dancers who dance 2 hrs of ballet per week.

RD Junior 2. 9-11 yrs:

Dancers who dance 3+ hours of ballet per week.

RDBC/RDC Junior 9+ yrs:

3+ hrs Ballet Required for RDBC and 1hr of another style. 5+ hrs of dancing required for RDC.

Building on the previous level to further learn sound ballet foundation and technique, reviewing and adding to previous age-appropriate steps—introduction to the ballet barre and pre-pointe, contemporary repertoire, and progressing ballet technique.

INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED
AGES 12-14+ yrs

5.5+ hrs of ballet per week required +1 hr of PBT 8+ hrs per week recommended.

RDBC/RDC Int/Adv 12-14+:

12+ hrs Required for RDBC/RDC.

Building on the previous level, to further learn sound ballet foundation and technique, reviewing and adding to previous age-appropriate steps. Inclusion of beginning pointe work, classical ballet and contemporary repertoire and choreography, and intermediate progressing ballet technique.
